His research activities include valuation issues, performance measurement and socioeconomic requirements for the development of risk capital (Venture Capital and Private Equity) markets. Before he joined GSCM, he had a one year Visiting Professorship at IESE Business School Barcelona, University of Navarra (Spain) and a one year Visiting Professorship at INSEAD (France). Prior to that he held a position as Assistant Professor for Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurial Finance at Darmstadt University of Technology (Germany). Alexander authored three comprehensive textbooks on a master’s level on corporate finance and entrepreneurial finance, one book on Venture Capital and Private Equity, several chapters in books and some journal articles. He is involved in training courses for Venture Capital and Private Equity fund managers, and has long lasting and profound university teaching experience as well as professional experience in the finance sector. He is member of the GSCM Research center (CEROM). |
