AIMS OF THE DEGREE COURSE

 

Health and Hospital Law are emerging legal disciplines that, in legal practice, have undergone significant growth in recent years. The large legal firms, for example, now have a Health-care Companies Law department. Paradoxically, universities do not provide much teaching or research activities in these fields. Legal practitioners and players in the health-care field nevertheless are seeking courses and qualifications in the subject.

The end-purpose of the MASTER’S DEGREE is to develop legal training adapted to the needs of the companies in the sector (health-care establishments as well as companies in the medical-social sector, laboratories, etc). It leads to taking account of interrogations of legal practitioners in contact with the health-care professionals in order to provide responses in terms of new courses. It also consists of anticipating the questions to come by identifying emerging requirements.
