Creation of the Master in European Management

The Montpellier Business School has created a triple diploma in partnership with the Institute of Business Administration of the University of Montpellier and Thailand.

The Executive Boards of the Montpellier Business School (France), of the Institute of Business Administration of the University of Montpellier 2 (France) and of the University of Burapha (Chonburi campus, Thailand), have signed, Tuesday 29th March in Thailand, a partnership agreement. The creation of this consortium of a Master in European Management (COMEM) will enable the Asian students of the University of Burapha to graduate with the Montpellier Business School Grande Ecole Master, major in European Management, the MBA in European Management of the University of Burapha and the Master 2 in Technology Management of the Montpellier University Institute of Business Administration. « We have been present in Asia for a long time now and we are continuing to develop our exchanges and partnerships, as we did recently with Korea. The creation of this Master fits perfectly within the scope of this policy, in broadening what we offer to South-East Asia. », comments Didier Jourdan, Dean of the Montpellier Business School.

Even if the examples of cooperation between the Montpellier Business School Grande Ecole and  the Institute of Business Administration of the University of Montpellier 2 are numerous, it is the first time that a common diploma has been put in place. « We have strong links with the Montpellier Business School, more than that, it is our first partner in France. But, this time, we are talking about the development of a programme starting from zero », explains Emmanuel Houzé, research professor and Programme Manager of the Montpellier University Institute of Business Administration Master.
