Vanadia: "Le Groupe Sup de Co Montpellier is the overall champion in social openness and sustainable development"
Thus spokeAlexandre Vanadia, host of the "Parcours" program and a TV journalist specialized in higher education, presenting at the MCE Awards Show for higher learning institutes.
How were the candidates chosen?
We received a hundred or so candidate files from higher learning establishments and universities, which showed a real interest in this first edition of the MCE Awards. Many schools participated, even the most prestigious ones.
The jury then selected three to five candidates per category and we met in the Drouant restaurant, in Goncourt, to consider the candidates, one by one, category by category.
How were awards for of the social openness and sustainable development decided?
The jury was very informed about the various policies of the national business schools in these areas. Whereas the decision for certain categories was very tight, (sometimes we even had to take a second vote), the jury was nearly unanimous in awarding Sup de Co Montpellier, the overall award
.
What was the reason for this near unanimity"?
We gave credit to Sup de Co Montpellier "for its body of its work" over the last ten years. It has been a long-term effort by Sup de Co Montpellier concerning societal matters. It is the overall champion in social openness and sustainable development. We particularly took into account the Diversité label that they earned, the student grants they provided, their training programs and their societal approach, i.e. their new EAP program for trade school graduates.
