Montpellier ESC :
school of hygher business management studies
The Ecole Supérieure de Commerce of Montpellier was founded in 1897. It delivers a 5-year higher education diploma certified by the Ministry for National Education, Research and Technology.
It carries the title "Graduate School of Management" and is also a member of the most famous national and international organisations: the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), the Consejo Latino Americano de Escuelas de Administración (CLADEA), the International Trade and Finance Association (IT&FA), the Quebec deans' and vice-chancellors' organisation (CREPUQ). For many years Montpellier ESC has run a higher business management education project which combines to good effect advanced management, commerce and administration teaching with practical business experience training (30 months spent with companies in France and abroad) and international education (12 to 24 months of study abroad leading to a double diploma). To ensure that training matches market requirements, Montpellier ESC puts its educational focus on businesses. It is in relation with a network of 7,400 professionals whose constant contact with the realities of business constitutes a source of enhancement for training.
There are 44 resident teachers to apply the Montpellier ESC educational policy and 250 visiting teachers from the business world whose experience enhances enterprise training.
Montpellier ESC has 114 university partners throughout the world which enables it to offer its students the opportunity to spend one or two academic years abroad and obtain double diplomas.

70% of students who passed their diploma in 1999 were recruited before their results were known, for an average annual gross salary of FRF 185,000.
