Concentrations
A turning point in the students' professional development policy, concentration puts them in a process of a rapid professional integration.

These professional concentrations are created with the help of partner companies and have to be approved every year by a council of judges. This council is designed to evaluate the performance of each concentration with regard to starting a career.


Concentration students are selected at the beginning of the Graduate programme on the basis of:

- ability
- profile
- work experience (at least 9 consecutive months)
- results required for the future careers


Concentrations are followed in lessons and seminars over a period of not less than 2 months.



For the 2002/2003 academic year, Montpellier ESC proposes 23 professional concentrations :

- Auditing

- International wine trade

- Consultancy in deployment of enterprise resource programs - ERP consultant

- Management control

- Business creation and development

- Credit and customer cycle management

- Doing business with Arab and/or islamic Worlds

- Finance
Over and above the DESCM, this concentration leads to the University of Montpellier 1 DESS in European financial management.

- Computing and telecommunication products and services engineering

- International business

- Logistics of supply chain management

- Law of Health Establishements

- Buying and quality management

- Human resources skills management

- Management of Non-Governmental Organisations

- Net Economy project management

- Marketing

- Banking
This concentration is acquired through vocational training and, over and above the DESCM, leads to the ITB diploma (Institut Technique Bancaire - Institute of Banking Techniques)

- Advisory work

- Negotiation in a public context

- Negotiation-sales

- Project management in graowing technology

- Researcher-Professor
