Tests and factors | Ulysse exams regulations

Entrance to the first year of Montpellier E.I. is open to all those who have passed their baccalauréat. Holders of a Bac+2 are eligible to join the second year of the programme.

Entrance to Montpellier E.I. is on the basis of results of a competitive exam called Ulysse.
This exam is for entrance to two international schools: Montpellier E.I. and the Académie Mercure. Candidates thus take a single exam and then choose which school they study at.

Ulysse is designed to give an equal chance to all candidates, whatever their previous education and training. The written exams are intended to test their general capacities and their command of foreign languages, this being of vital importance in international studies.

There is also an interview to ascertain the candidates' personal faculties enabling them to:

- fully grasp the innovating educational system of Montpellier E.I.
- develop their personal and professional abilities
- fulfil themselves in their career.

The selection criteria for Montpellier E.I. focus as much on the personality of candidates as on their intellectual ability.
