Joint MBA with the University of Birmingham
This Joint MBA is a joint venture between the Sup de Co Montpellier Group and the Birmingham Business School.

The programme is a truly joint one with half the time spent in each location and with a jointly awarded degree at the end of it which ensures international recognition of the qualification. It is the result of several years collaboration between the two schools and subject specialists have worked together to ensure participants will have a smooth transition from one to the other.
Teaching methods and orientation naturally reflect national styles. Rather than attempt to homogenise the syllabus, we aim to exploit the richness of our different styles to develop managers able to operate comfortably in at least two European countries. The syllabus in each school is already European/Global - indeed, we have always been pioneers in internationalisation. However, the additional benefits of working in another culture, in another language and with managers from other countries offer considerable opportunities to enhance the performance of European managers.

Naturally, a high level of English language competence will be required for admission to this programme in addition to the joint MBA entrance requirements. Intensive language support is provided to ensure that students are fully prepared in this respect before moving to the partner institution.

Teaching is divided evenly between institutions, but a dissertation is also required. The dissertation may be written at either institution, and the student will receive academic guidance from a professor at the institution where the dissertation is written. The programme is of twelve months duration full-time, and may be started in Montpellier or in Birmingham.

Programme Admission Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, TOEFL score (580 paper-based, 237 computer) / IELTS score (6.5)(for non-native speakers of English), and a minimum of three years' work experience.
