The Interdisciplinary European Conference on Entrepreneurship Research (IECER) is today an established annual meeting for entrepreneurship researchers across Europe. Founded in 2003 by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Schmude (Ludwig-Maximilians Universität, Munich) and Prof. Dr. Michael Dowling (University of Regensburg), its mission is to advance interdisciplinary entrepreneurship research in Europe.
Conceived as a high quality forum of entrepreneurship debate, the conference is hosted every year between February and March by a different country selecting on average 45 research papers.
The hosting institutions in the past were the University of Regensburg (GER), University of Amsterdam (NL), Groupe Sup de Co Montpellier Business School (FR), the Technical University of Lisbon (PT), and the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität Munich (GER).
Since 2004, the best conference contributions were published in two edited books and eight special issues (International Journal of Entrepreneurship & Small Business; International Journal of Business & Globalisation).
The new academic coordinators, Prof. Dr. Kerstin Wagner (HTW Chur University, SUI) and Prof. Dr. Frank Lasch (Groupe Sup de Co Montpellier Business School, FR) are pleased to announce that the 11 edition of the IECER conference will take place on March 13-15, 2013, in Brescia, Italy, hosted by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
This year's conference theme will be "Entrepreneurial Challenges in the 21st Century – Current Research and Future Avenues".
If you wish to present at the conference, please submit an abstract by October 15, 2012. For further details, please consult the "Call for Papers" section.

The 11th Annual Interdisciplinary European Conference on Entrepreneurship Research (IECER) will take place in Brescia, Italy. Leading organizer and host of this year's conference is the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Faculty of Psychology. REGISTRATION
Fees
For attendees the fee including the social event and conference banquet is € 350. For presenters the fee is € 250. For students or doctoral students the fee is € 150.
The conference dinner will take place at March 14, in Brescia. The cost for participation will be € 50 and is not part of the conference fee.
